Can Assist Armidale Christmas Cup Day

6 Dec 2026

The inaugural Can Assist Armidale Christmas Cup is set to launch on Sunday 6th December, starting what will become a highly anticipated annual tradition for the region. Bring the entire family along for an exceptional day of racing, festive fun and community spirit, all while supporting a deeply meaningful cause.

To add to the holiday magic we will have a special visit from Santa with lolly bags for the kids, alongside a face painter to keep the little ones entertained. The festivities will also feature a fantastic antique car display while local favourites The Dots will play sessions throughout the afternoon to ensure excellent musical vibes between races.

The day features a packed 7 race program covered by Sky Channel and all major betting platforms. It is the perfect opportunity to kick off the festive season, soak up the vibrant atmosphere and host a group of friends, colleagues or family members.

To elevate your experience you can book a club supplied quick-shade package overlooking the home straight. For $550 for 10 people your group will get free entry, a dedicated marquee, a table with 10 chairs, 10 complimentary drinks, gourmet platters for 10 and 20 raffle tickets to get you started. Book your marquee package by contacting Irma on 0419 783 683.

Spread the holiday cheer and win big as a massive Christmas Raffle will take place during the day with fantastic prizes up for grabs.

Our naming rights sponsor, Regional Australia Bank, proudly leads the charge for this event. Their generous support highlights a shared dedication to the local community, ensuring the first ever Christmas Cup is an absolute standout.

The day is also made possible by a fantastic lineup of local supporting sponsors including Waters Homes, Peter Cameron Insurance Brokers, HH Real Estate, The Goldfish Bowl Cafe & Bakery, New England Towing & Piddingtons Funeral Home & Crematorium.

Best of all, proceeds from the day go directly to Can Assist Armidale to help provide financial assistance and support to Armidale cancer patients and their families.
